Job Description
FIELD SALES AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT – FLUID POWER
We are a Bearing and Power transmission products distributor serving a broad industrial customer base in PA, NY, NJ, and DE. We also specialize in Fluid Power, Electronic Motion Control, and Material Handling. We have 14 offices located throughout the eastern half of PA, NJ, and DE.
We are looking for a Technical Field Sales and support professional to join our Fluid Power Department.
The Fluid Power Specialist will be responsible for making joint sales calls with territory salesmen with specific regard to fluid power products. Those products include hydraulic and pneumatic components, hose and fittings, industrial pumps and accessories, and all other fluid handling components and accessories.
Responsibilities will also include technical support for existing fluid power inside sales, outside territory sales, and Director of Fluid Power. Duties shall include, but NOT limited to;
· Field sales calls, with and without territory manager
· Spear-heading projects pertaining to fluid power products
· Preparation of customer quotations when necessary
· Assistance in training of inside and outside staff
· Provide technical support to inside and outside staff
· Assist with interchange of competitor products to preferred manufacturers
· Participation in customer and company events
· Communication with management regarding customer issues and sales opportunities
· Ensure high level of customer service and resolution to customer problems
· Participation in 24-hour emergency service
The right individual shall possess a minimum of 2 yrs. sales experience of industrial products with specific regard to hydraulic and pneumatic components, hose and fittings, industrial pumps and accessories, and all fluid handling components and accessories. They should have a strong desire to compete in a fast-paced sales environment while being focused on providing the highest level of service from any and all industrial resources.
