Pulmonologist/Critical Care Opportunity w/ UofL Health-South Hospital Opening March 2024

University of Louisville Physicians (ULP) is seeking Pulmonologists for UofL Health-South Hospital opening in March 2024! UofL Health is investing in the health of Bullitt county, and the surrounding area with an expansion of our current UofL Health-Medical Center South to become an inpatient hospital-UofL Health-South Hospital.  South Hospital will add approximately 100,00 sq. feet of new space to the existing facility adding 10-bed ICU, 30 medical/surgical patient rooms, 20 future patient rooms, cardiopulmonary, respiratory therapy and support space!

Physician will be performing procedures that include but not limited to:

• Insertion/management of chest tube
• Insertion/ management of central venous catheters
• Bronchoscopy w/wo biopsy
• Paracentesis, thoracentesis
• Mechanical ventilation management, chronic and acute
• Percutaneous tracheostomy
• Tracheal intubations
• Moderate Sedation/Analgesia

Travel between UofL Health facilities within the Louisville metro area may be required.
