Nephrologist – Meridian, MS

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrologist to do both clinic and hospital consults/inpatient management. Ochsner Rush is a 215-bed acute care hospital located in Meridian, MS. A multi-specialty clinic attached to Ochsner Rush Hospital that represents an array of medical specialties; The Specialty Hospital of Meridian, a 49-bed LTAC hospital; Five critical access hospitals located in Union, Quitman, Morton and DeKalb MS and Butler, AL and more than 25 Family Practice clinic locations which serve as excellent referral sources.

Details of the Position:

• General or fellowship trained nephrologists are encouraged to apply
• Active clinical practice with large referral base
• 1 physician at Rush and 1 physician within our community Nephrology group that takes call.
• Call coverage to be discussed.
• Adult Hospitalist Program in place for more than 20 years.
• Goal is to build our own Nephrologist group and dialysis program in the future
• Our system offers a full range of services for patients with acute and chronic kidneys diseases, including Interventional Nephrology and outpatient hemodialysis
