Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Type doctors first patient reports, progress notes, discharge reports and request for surgery
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for confirmation of receipt of patient treatment requests
• Escort patients to exam rooms and or perform front office duties such as checking in patients

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in workers compensation healthcare a must
• Excellent typing skills 50 wpm or higher
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Spanish speaker
