Entry Level Accountant

Responsibilities:
-Perform federal & state income and payroll tax returns ie. Forms 1040, 1065, 1041, 1120-S
- Perform account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information
- Participate in mentoring programs to develop accounting skills
- Assist with special projects as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
