Project Manager - Water / Wastewater - Pipelines

PRIME AE Group, Inc. (), a multi-faceted and rapidly growing architectural and engineering firm with 20 office locations and over 475 employees throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast areas, is seeking a creative, highly talented Project Manager - Water / Wastewater - to join the existing team at our Baltimore, Northern Virginia or Albany offices. Responsibilities / Position Overview

• Able to demonstrate an established career (5-10 years' experience) in Water/Wastewater with considerable knowledge of water and wastewater design of all pipe sizes, industry standards and civil design practices.
• Able to provided technical capabilities beyond linear pipeline design a plus. Including water storage, booster pump stations, water treatment, pump stations, wastewater treatment, and other complex water/wastewater design projects.
• Serves as Project Manager on key pipeline design projects.
• Successfully manages, and delivers projects on time and on budget, while meeting quality requirements.
• Prepares and monitors project budgets.
• Regularly develops and evaluates project plans.
• Provides leadership, direction and technical guidance on water and wastewater projects.
• Assesses the feasibility and soundness/validity of proposed engineering evaluations when necessary, data are insufficient.
• Responsible for ensuring proper quality control procedures are implemented on all projects.
• Conducts peer reviews and makes technical presentations.
• Identifies potential clients and project opportunities.
• Mentors Junior Staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in MD, VA, or DC or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5-10 years working as a Water / Wastewater Engineer related to pipeline design or other related areas including water and wastewater system studies, water quality analyses, pump station design, water treatment design and wastewater treatment design required.
• Previous experience as a Design Manager or Task Manager for projects is a very strong plus!
• Experience working with local communities, including assisting operators with treatment solutions, start-up services and commissioning.
• Experience in Business Development and a Seller-Doer mentality a strong plus.
