The Nurse Director Inpatient Dialysis will have oversight of the overall operational, clinical alignment, financial and overall performance of the acute dialysis and apheresis units, providing strategic direction to meet the needs of the facility and regional market place.  The Nurse Director Inpatient Dialysis is responsible for:

  • Long range strategic planning of the department
  • Development of the annual operating and capital budgets
  • Maintaining staff productivity levels and staff development
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Effective Customer Service/ Patient Experience program

The Nurse Director Inpatient Dialysis will have a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with a Masters in Nursing preferred and a minimum of four years which includes one year of related clinical experience and a minimum of two years progressive supervisory/management experience in an acute care facility. Experience in a Magnet facility is preferred. The Nurse Director Inpatient Dialysis will have strong communication skills and customer focused, with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain partnerships
