Compensation: 

• Hourly Pay: $27 plus both the doubles endorsement premium & night shift premium.
  • Average of 32-40 hours a week

• Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 paid over every three months in your first year of employment

Home Time, Route, & Schedule 

• Home Daily!
• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday
• Route: From Chicago to Detroit
• Evening shift with 6pm start time
• Level of Touch: Unload product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart/pallet jack, and place in designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.

Equipment

• Newer Freightliner’s and Internationals
• Mix of automatic with some manual 
• Governed speed: 65 MPH (on most trucks)
• All trucks equipped with cameras

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have doubles endorsements with 6 months to 1 year experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6-months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
• No DUI/DWIs in last 3 years 
• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72” to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from trailer
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate for this position
