Marathon Petroleum Company LP has an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor position at its Carlsbad, New Mexico warehouse!

Essential Job Functions

• Provide oversight in the execution of daily warehouse operations, including the handling of goods receipts, goods issues, stock inventory accuracy, logistics, and quality control/assurance.
• Collaborate and build relationships with the Warehouse Director, site SME’s, business partners, and supply chain group to support external and internal projects.
• Assist and provide guidance on local Material Management activities including annual inventories, obsolete/surplus reviews, repair/refurbishments, and running reports for analysis.
• Coach employees and participate in the performance management process. Develop/oversee training programs, ensure employees/contractors maintain required training and certifications.
• Collect all documentation for inbound/outbound freight and ensure all documents, including receiving paperwork, are timely entered into SAP, and filed appropriately upon completion as required.
• Optimize and maintain site warehouse, laydown yard, chemical storage pads, temporary storage areas, offsite storage sites ‘spokes’, and ensure stationary and mobile equipment are maintained and replaced as necessary.
• Coordinate and assist in the loading and unloading of materials, review shipments for accuracy, book material receipts and issues, and store material in accordance with Company and site policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high standard for Health, Environment, Safety & Security (HES&S) standards, lead and participate in activities supporting HES&S commitments and escalate any issues to Director.

Education & Experience Required

• 5 + years related experience in materials management, warehousing, or stores operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
