Highlights implemented NetSuite across the enterprise, and we are looking for a manager to lead the NetSuite IT team and post-implementation activities including technology adoption and expansion of this critical business tool. We are seeking someone with excellent leadership, technical and communication skills who is effective at working with multiple executive stakeholders, understanding the needs of system users, designing solutions, and configuring NetSuite products to meet our business needs and support our growth and scalability. To excel in this role, you will need to be able to lead a team and view the business from the big picture, while also handling operational tasks to fully support our NetSuite system and business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead ongoing post implementation and day-to-day operational support to optimize user adoption and NetSuite configuration
  • Contribute to the development of a system roadmap and strategy for process improvement and automation to solve business problems
  • Provide technical consulting expertise, best practices, and problem resolution for escalated requests
  • Participate in the development of short and long-term strategic planning
  • Lead ongoing exploration, analysis, and implementation of system enhancement needs and business requirements
  • Ensure the right leaders and other stakeholders are engaged in solution definition and decisions, including leaders of all user groups impacted and corporate IT
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements or issues - verbally and / or through written documentation - to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders ensuring issues, solutions, and outcomes are understood
  • Manage vendor relationships and system integrator engagements
  • Develop, mentor, and provide guidance and feedback to the NetSuite IT team
  • Maintain and create workflows, functions, and configurations within NetSuite to address business needs
  • Manage new releases and updates to NetSuite, test updates, and effectively implement new features
  • Serve as the company subject matter expert on NetSuite

What you should show up ready to teach anyone on your first day:

  • Your expertise and knowledge of NetSuite capabilities and best practices

Within your first month, you'll:

  • Get to know our NetSuite IT team and business partners
  • Develop understanding of business areas utilizing NetSuite including financials, inventory, revenue management, order management, work orders and assemblies, and interfaces with other systems
  • Collaborate with our NetSuite external support partner(s) to influence solution decisions that are supportable and scalable
  • Champion the use of NetSuite: Help managers hold staff accountable for system use and work with leaders to propose and implement new ways to leverage NetSuite

Within your first year, you'll:

  • Coach and develop our NetSuite team members
  • Provide input on solution decisions, implement requirements, and lead ongoing configuration, testing, and training
  • Establish credibility and build trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organization
  • Have a deep understanding of the objectives of our organization and how technology will help us meet those objectives

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise NetSuite Administrator(s) and support team members

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with NetSuite
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
  • Extensive technical and operational knowledge of NetSuite System implementation and system integration experience
  • Considerable experience translating business requirements and processes into low friction automation and high impact results
  • Outstanding people leader and proven ability to develop and mentor

Qualifications:

  • NetSuite SiteFoundation Certification or NetSuite Administrator Certification preferred
  • A strong understanding of cross functional business processes across OTC, P2P, R2R, S&OP, data governance, etc
  • LSS green belt or higher is preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Pardot preferred

Travel potential up to 20%
