Mission:

Managing the company's finances, leading the financial strategy, optimizing the company's economic resources, ensuring sustainability, liquidity, and the viability of investments and expansionary policies. Leading regulatory audits.

Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee the department's daily operations (accounting, treasury, credit and collections, billing, administration, and cost control).
  • Administer, supervise, and analyze historical financial statements, projections, and budgets. Also, submit reports related to Forbis Perú and Ferreycorp.
  • Analyze the profitability and cost system of the company.
  • Timely address the requirements of internal and external audits: financial, corporate, and tax (transfer pricing).
  • Supervise the delivery of reports and functions of external accounting advisors (federal and state reports, accounting and payroll, and tax declaration).
  • Manage and maintain credit lines with suppliers and ensure timely payments.
  • Administer company funds, conduct financial planning, and prepare cash flows (historical and projected).
  • Participate in Treasury, Credit and Collections, and Financial Statements corporate committees.
  • Accrual Management
  • Develop subordinate staff through performance management, goal-setting, continuous training, and maintaining strong employee relations.
  • Other duties related to the position.

Qualifications (All are required)

  • 4-year Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university (Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance)
  • 5+ years of experience, three years in a supervisory role and two years in the industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining financial controls and processes.
  • Skilled in statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes in risks and opportunities for the firm,
  • Excel knowledge and QuickBooks proficiency to compile and analyze financial information.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with GAAP to apply those guidelines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with IFRS in applying those guidelines.
  • Must have strong aptitudes in critical thinking and task management, be results-driven, and be able to manage multiple projects at any given time.
  • Spanish and English Required
