About this role:


As a FedRAMP Documentation Developer at RingCentral, your primary responsibilities are to design and develop FedRAMP documents required for FedRAMP Certification. Additionally, you will update policies and procedures for the eighteen FedRAMP control groups and perform continuous monitoring activities as part of the ConMon team after certification. You will also work closely with teams across the organization to ensure FedRAMP certification is maintained. This role can be based remote from anywhere in the US.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, update and manage the FedRAMP System Security Plan (SSP), SSP Attachments and the eighteen core control policies and procedures

  • Support Continuous Monitoring requirements within RingCentral including but not limited to:

    • POA&M Development

    • Inventory Reporting

    • Evidence Management

    • Configuration Management

    • Deviation Requests

    • Security Impact Analysis Review

    • Significant Change Documentation

  • Coordinate with multiple teams simultaneously as required to obtain necessary information for the documentation and/or Continuous Monitoring effort

  • Analyzes efficiency of documentation and recommends improvement opportunities to management.

  • Ability to prioritize enhancements, manage workload and effectively multi-task.

  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.

  • Understands impact of regulatory developments and compliance guidelines on standards and processes, interprets and applies within policy and procedure documentation.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of FedRAMP and FedRAMP documentation in a hybrid environment

  • Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, 800-171, 800-63, and 800-218

  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments and applications in a security context.

  • Ability to quickly change priorities and handle simultaneous tasks.

  • Strong background in technical writing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite.


Education/Prerequisites:

  • 4 or more years of experience in FedRAMP documentation generation

  • AS degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology (or related discipline).

  • ISC2 GRC or related certification preferred
