Cardiology Unit Manager - Full-time / Part-time

A wonderful new opportunity has become available for Cardiology Unit Manager at an acute care hospital outside of Kirtland, New Mexico. This hospital specifically has 240+ patient beds, as well as a highly recognized Level III Trauma Center providing healthcare for the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. 

Reporting directly up to the Director of Cardiology Services, the Cardiology Unit Manager has a big set of responsibilities within the department. With multiple assistant RN's, a Supervisor, and several staff level RN's, the Manager has a lot of support. Some responsibilities may include;

• Take charge in overseeing care provided by all staff and ensuring that it is safe and up to hospital standards
• Meet with other department leaders regarding important hospital matters
• Keeping up to date with the best practices and be sure that they follow hospital guidelines
• Develop staff members through education and quality improvement initiatives 

At least 5 years or prior nursing experience and an active nursing license in the sate of New Mexico is required for consideration at this time.
