Vice-Chair of Clinical Research Opportunity @ The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center

The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center located in Columbus, Ohio under the direction of Amy Moore, MD, FACS, Chair is recruiting an exceptional and innovative scholar to lead a nationally recognized program as the Vice-Chair of Clinical Research.  This position is full-time on the tenure-track, with rank and salary commensurate with education and experience. The successful candidate is a nationally/internationally respected researcher who has maintained externally funded and independent research programs with impact or implications for the field of Plastic Surgery.

 

Qualifications:

• MD, MBBS, DO or PhD
• Active basic, translational, clinical or health services research program relevant to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Record of scholarly achievement, including publications and extramural funding.
• Record of mentoring students, trainees and faculty in research activities.
• Experience in managing research budgets.
• Associate or full professor rank required.
