Dental Assistant

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a part time dental assistant in FaktorDMD's Manalapan, New Jersey location. Hours for this position are Monday 8:30am - 6:00pm, Tuesday 8:30am - 6:00pm, Wednesday (two shift options) either 8:30am - 5:00pm or 11:00am - 9:00pm. Additional days will be offered after a period of time working in our office. We welcome all applicants with experience in general/restorative/cosmetic/surgical procedures. Our office has been newly renovated and completely modernized. This is not a corporate office and each member of our staff is warm, friendly, and supportive of one another.  Some of our duties include:

Greeting patients upon arrival
Assisting in all dental procedures, including emergency work
Preparing and taking digital X-rays, CT (CBCT) scans, and digital impressions of patients
Preparing for treatment related to endodontics, implant surgery, general, and cosmetic dentistry
Coordinating lab deliveries and entering information into the dental management software
Teaching and advising patients on proper oral hygiene
Reviewing and coordinating dental treatment plans
Sterilizing equipment and following proper hygienic protocol
Managing the inventory of dental equipment and supplies
Helping with administrative tasks in the office such as scheduling and record-keeping
Dentrix knowledge is a plus
