$22 - $35 an hour

●     Corales de la Tierra Adaptive Skills Trainer Program

Corales de la Tierra offers a clinical program with an emphasis on furthering independence and increasing social skills for individuals with developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking experienced professionals to join our team of Skills Coaches to help our clients build adaptive living skills, boost independence and practice social skills. We encourage community access, building the social network of our clients, assisting clients in obtaining volunteer/paid jobs and working to reduce problematic behaviors.
 

Adaptive Skills Coach

As part of a team skills coaches assist our clients in:

●     Developing improved social skills in realistic settings
●     Building relationship skills and widening social networks
●     Gaining increased community access
●     Improving independent living skills
●     Obtaining volunteer or paid positions
●     Participating in desired leisure activities

Qualifications

●     Ability to work collaboratively as part of a client-centered team
●     Ability to assist clients in increasing independence
●     Good communication skills
●     Ability to work independently and as part of a team
●     Ability to track client progress and data as needed
●     Experience modeling skills and instructing parents/caregivers
●     Bilingual speakers encouraged to apply

Adaptive Skills Trainer– Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

●     Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, counseling, ABA or related field
●     One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities (preferred)
●     Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license in good standing
●     Proficiency in Google Drive, MS Word, Excel and other online platforms
