Job Description

Your leap into the future of 5G/LTE can start today!

We're actively seeking an experienced Systems Engineer that can roll up their sleeves, hit the ground running, and independently lead RF engineering projects applied to telecommunications infrastructure with it's related data. You'll be in an architecture-based role to influence system level designs on testable requirements. In addition, this is a role requiring a mix of con-ops analysis, engineering economic factors, as well as systems analysis, interface design, validation, verification, and schedule constraints. Project management experience is a huge plus, as this is a role that is often self-initiated, while following the general direction and guidance from the company's long-term goals and objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for 5G systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards
  • Develop advanced technology solutions and guide integration into final product.
  • Optimize the performance of 5G systems through system-level tuning, parameter optimization, and performance analysis to meet quality of service (QoS) requirements.
  • Plan and optimize 5G network deployments, considering factors such as coverage, capacity, interference, and mobility patterns to enhance network efficiency and user experience.
  • Develop strategies and algorithms for mitigating interference in 5G networks, including techniques such as beam-forming, power control, and spectrum management.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in 5G systems, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure system resilience and security.

    The ideal candidate would:
  • In-depth knowledge of 5G standards, including 3GPP specifications, radio access network (RAN) architecture, and core network components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues in 5G systems.
  • Experience in network planning, optimization, and troubleshooting of wireless communication systems
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functional teams and influence technical decisions.

This is a direct-hire, full time opportunity with hybrid work arrangements.
