Neurologist in Fremont/San Leandro

The Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time BE/BC General Neurologist to join our team in Fremont/San Leandro, CA.

This collegial group has (8) Neurologists covering Fremont and San Leandro, a 30-minute drive. The ideal candidate is a generalist 60-70% and 30-40% subspeciality. Training might be in MS/Immunology; EEG reading is a plus. Weekend call is Friday am through Monday am. Weekday call is 2-3 days in a row. The call day is 7-5 PM at both facilities. The (8) neurologists divide holidays and every 7th weekend. Outside of the workplace, the group often shares birthdays and other activities. There is mutual respect, and everyone shares the workload. Training is an important hiring factor, but work ethic, and team spirit are keys to fit.

Requirements:

• Board Certification or Eligibility
• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Full-time annual salary range is $335,040 to $348,600 plus additional potential incentives up to $31,800*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
