Make your mark. Plante Moran's technology services team has been awarded Insider Pro and Computerworld's "100 Best Places to Work in IT" for five consecutive years. We are also previous recipients of the InformationWeek IT Excellence award and the CIO 100 award. If you're seeking professional growth, like being innovative and challenged, and have a desire to work on impactful business technology solutions, we want to hear from you!

Plante Moran enjoys a "Workplace for Your Day" model which, simply put, means no one knows the best place for you to physically work better than you. Our staff choose their work location based on their individual day's needs, and gives them the flexibility they need when they need it. If staff need to go into the office to collaborate, the space is there, and if they have a day where they need to focus alone, then staying home works just fine, too.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled senior technology leader to join our team. As a senior technology leader, you will lead a technology team that is responsible for managing our growing Workday ERP footprint. You will partner with functional leaders to create and drive the ERP roadmap, and oversee application implementation, configuration, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for ensuring the overall integrity of the Workday platform and ensuring that all components of the technical architecture are properly integrated, implemented, delivered, and maintained.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead efforts to develop and execute the Workday ERP strategy and roadmap inclusive of application upgrades, enhancements and implementation activities that address business plans, vendor product developments and support requirements, while ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
  • Improve the speed and quality of our Workday ERP operations by partnering with business owners, IT teams, and external vendors to drive continuous improvement, assess current practices and processes and develop new or improved processes, methodologies, systems, tools and/or services.
  • Evaluate new technologies and oversee the implementation of these technologies into the existing ERP landscape.
  • Recommend changes to processes, methods and implement practices that enable the team to become high performing.
  • Engage with our stakeholders at all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure we are solving the right problems and defining the right solutions technically.
  • Keep stakeholders updated throughout the development cycle
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge and understanding of the latest developments in the Workday space.
  • Collaborate with the broader architecture community to ensure that solutions align with target architectures and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide technical expertise, direction, and leadership and oversee the team's day-to-day activities across application implementation, configuration, support, and maintenance.

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Workday Financials, HCM, and PSA implementation and operations experience preferred.
  • Strong team building and people leadership skills, with demonstrated leadership in developing Workday technical staff and skills.
  • 3+ years of experience managing an enterprise technology team.
  • 3+ years of experience overseeing or executing projects in the enterprise application space.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills combined with high personal integrity.
  • An ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships at all levels both within and outside the firm, characterized by mutual respect, openness, and trust.

* This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
