Radiologic Technologist/ Medical Assistant

Position Summary:

Medical x-ray technicians take radiographic images while performing a diagnostic imaging examination. During an x-ray procedure, a technician must position a patient's body in a specific manner to capture the exact image ordered by the physician.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Rad Tech utilizes ionizing radiation to perform diagnostic X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Tomographic and Portable Procedures.

2. Has an excellent knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality films for interpretation.

3. Team work is an essential part of working in the Imaging Department and thus secondary responsibilities are required.

Education/Experience:

1. FL License

2. ARRT

3. At least 1 Year Xray Tech experience

4. Must be able to communicate effectively, work independently and perform routine X-ray exams

b. Stand for long periods of time.
