Responsibilities
- Meet with clients for the first time in their speech journey.
- Perform evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that client, working with them to set short and long term goals
- Perform skilled interventions that meet the clients individual needs
- Maintaining excellent records of client needs, care, and outcome
- Work closely with the families to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
Qualifications
- Active state license for practicing speech therapy, for CFY a limited license will be required.
- Ability to collaborate with other professionals
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
