Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Create engaging weekly lesson plans aligned with children's developmental needs.
- Supervision and Training: Lead, guide, and mentor staff to foster a cohesive learning environment.
- Assessments and Reporting: Carefully evaluate and document each child's progress through assessments, driving individual growth.
- Parent Collaboration: Conduct biannual parent conferences, nurturing children's holistic development through shared insights.
- Communication: Collaborate with Directors to ensure child welfare and seamless classroom management.
- Child Safety: Implement child safety protocols, fostering a secure environment.
- Resource Management: Monitor educational supplies, enhancing the learning experience.
- Information Sharing: Support families with resources and information when needed.
- Admin Duties: Attend meetings, complete paperwork, and fulfill administrative tasks.
- Additional Responsibilities: Embrace extra duties enhancing the learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: CDA, Associates in Early Education, BS/BA in Early Education/Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in an educational setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to comfortably sit on the floor and interact with children.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Mobility to engage in outdoor activities, navigate stairs, and supervise on playgrounds.
- Adaptability to varying noise levels within the classroom.
- Physical agility to actively interact with and oversee young children.
