$15.37 to $16.14 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Cocoa/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is also subject to callbacks for large events and/or emergencies.Performs experienced office and clerical work in the acquisition, inventory, and distribution of equipment and supplies for the Fire Rescue Department.

REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of warehouse and customer service experience. Additional qualifying education and/or may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must possess, or obtain within six (6) months of employment, a current OSHA-compliant Forklift Operator certification, which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.178 and be able to safely and effectively operate a forklift. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster which may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
