Position Description:
We are searching for a Capital Markets Credit Officer. This position will thoroughly analyze and underwrite assigned participation accounts and offers, along with the servicing of such assigned accounts. The Capital Markets Credit Officer will assist in the ana lysis, servicing, and reporting of the loan participations. The position will also require the individual to develop industry and peer group analysis, portfolio analysis, and other special projects as assigned.


Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in our hybrid work design you will:

- Credit administration, financial analysis, monitoring and due diligence review of various financial participation packages and loan origination with district associations or commercial agency lenders.
- Development of loan participation and correspondent banking relationships with other lenders. Incumbent will also manage and service participation loan relationships as assigned and directed by supervisor.
- Assist in the development and closing of complex loans by assisting with analysis and negotiation of such credits.
- Interprets, communicates, and provides guidance to associations regarding district lending policies and procedures.
- Interprets and acts upon various legal, title and other questions which may arise on loans.
- Assists in administering and developing lending programs, as well as developing and revising operating procedures relating to lending operations.
- Assist other bank personnel in completing coordinated projects as assigned.

It's an important role that covers many skills. This position requires:

Bachelor's Degree in finance, business administration or other related business field or commensurate experience. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in all facets of lending including the marketing, extension, administration, and analysis of commercial credit. The incumbent should have experience and knowledge in the analysis of complex credits, as well as negotiating and dealing with commercial type loans. The incumbent should have experience in working with financial institutions in structuring and evaluating various loan participations, credit relationships, and analysis of direct loans.

This position requires skill and knowledge in credit administration, financial analysis, the use of various loan analysis software programs, accounting standards, credit policies, and procedures, as well as program and product development. Excellent computer, interpersonal, public speaking and communication skills are required. A thorough knowledge of financial statement analysis, forecasting analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral analysis and payment performance in the areas of mortgage and commercial lending. Knowledgeable on credit and accounting standards, real estate appraisals, product and service marketing techniques and programs. Must be able to accurately identify, measure and manage risk in loans, loan portfolios a nd direct loans. This position will require time management skills with travel up to 15 percent.
