Human Resources Internship - Part-time

Job Summary: This is a paid ,entry-level, seasonal internship to introduce the functions of Human Resources to innovating college students.  Responsible for daily duties in Human Resources.  This position is accountable for delivering a superior Guest experience, while enforcing all park policies and procedures. 

·        Completing all paperwork required for Team Members onboarding

·        Assisting Team Members with any issues that may arise

·        Answering the Human Resources phone line, answering employee questions and directing calls as needed

·        Filing paperwork efficiently and accurately for all employee personnel files

·        Maintaining proper record keeping of all files

·        Assisting in making phone calls to schedule interviews and complete paperwork

·        Sorting and issuing paychecks on a weekly basis

·        Maintaining a professional image at all times

·        Being knowledgeable of Six Flags policies and procedures

·        Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies

·        Assisting in other areas of the Human Resource Department

·        Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

·        At least 18 years of age

·        Basic computer skills and ability/willingness to learn

·        Must be able to work in a confidential environment

·        Must have excellent customer service skills

·        Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time

·        Must be able to work in a team environment

·        Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language

·        Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends; a minimum of 20 hours per week
