As our Early Childhood ServicesManager, you will provide leadership and oversight to program content teams, including Health, Inclusion, Mental Health, Nutrition, and Professional Development Coaches.In this role, you will ensure all assigned comprehensive services are coordinated appropriately and include ongoing assessment of the quality of services rendered. Further oversight includes meeting Office of Head Start Performance Standards and programmatic benchmarks that support school readiness outcomes and build supportive relationships with families.

We Require
Five years of teaching experience in early childhood education or child care partnerships, including two years of management and/or supervisory experience
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Development or advanced degree
We Also Value
Knowledge of MSN Office Suites, Excel, and ChildPlus software
Current and former Early Head Start and Head Start parents
Job Contributions
Provide oversight and monitoring of the provision of comprehensive services, including health, mental health, oral health, Inclusion, Nutrition, and Professional Development for all service delivery options. Makes modifications as needed to ensure high quality services are delivered and meet Office of Head Start Performance Standards.
Provide direct supervision to the content experts' Health, Inclusion, Mental Health, Professional Development Coaches, and administrative team
Monitor the maintenance of record keeping and reporting systems, including service area plans, schedules, timelines policies, and procedures for Health, Inclusion, and Mental Health services in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and applicable laws and regulations
Ensure the content team implements consistent coordination with staff, parents, school districts, and the community to enhance services to children and families that promote school readiness
Monitor effective transition planning for children with disabilities and their families.
Ensure planning and administration of early education professional development is based on the theories and principles of child growth and development, early childhood education, and family support.
Develop and implement professional development that meets school readiness goals ensuring that model is within budget and makes the best use of division resources. Leads the planning and evaluation of wellness activities for staff and professional development for all service delivery options and content areas
Evaluate all policies and procedures related to assign team and modify them based on program trends
Lead the hiring of instructional staff including developing/updating job descriptions, reviewing applications for employment, conducting interviews, making recommendations for hiring, completing reference checks
Follow the program's process for using data to identify program strengths and needs and continually evaluate compliance with regulations and progress towards achieving benchmarks
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a large office environment with high levels of noise and activity and long periods of sitting, reading, and typing
Ability to obtain and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Cardupon hire
Valid Arizona driver's license is required upon hire
Ability to travel to program sites throughout Maricopa County and from job-related locations during a scheduled workday using a private or County vehicle
Ability to travel out of town for training and conferences occasionally
Must be able to pass a medical exam that includes screening for TB, as required by Federal and State regulations, to be free of communicable disease, and must have received the following vaccinations: (MMR) Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Tetanus if not current, to assure no significant risk exists to the health or safety of others
