Quality Assurance Officer

ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The Quality Assurance Officer ensures the quality of the site installations is consistent with the company's policy requirements together with national and international standards and the customers specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs project-specific observations, and inspection duties under general supervision
• Oversees testing, (example: Soil, concrete, or other) and provides an assessment of data through reporting
• Works utilizing drawings, specifications, and diagrams
• Uses specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks
• Serves as onsite project quality representative
• Reads and Interprets Plans and Specifications
• Performs complex assignments
• Attendance at project meetings is required
• Makes detailed observations and gives the interpretation of results
• Maintains detailed documentation and data from test results
• Operates a calculator to calculate mathematical test results
• Communicates effectively with client and project teams
• Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
• Performs related work as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Data collection and evaluation techniques
• Must have Basic Math, Calculator, and Computer Skills
• Must be able to read plans and specifications
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Superb work ethic and ability to accept feedback

Experience/Qualifications:

• Degree in construction management or civil engineering or acceptable combination education and or experience.?
• 2 years of related construction quality inspection experience preferred
• ACI certifications preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required
