Maintenance Facilities Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Our client, a global eCommerce organization is seeking a Maintenance Facilities Engineer to join their team. As a Maintenance Facilities Engineer you will be part of the Facilities/Maintenance team supporting electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance at the data center. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical/electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, is organized with strong writing skills and proficiency in MS Office which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Maintenance Facilities Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH area 

Pay Range:  $32.38/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?
 

• Maintenance Facilities Engineer  will be responsible for Engineering Operations within a Data Center including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting.
• Operate and manage both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
• Responsible for the on-site management of shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices and procedures.
