Harris & Associates is seeking a dynamic Senior Project/Construction Manager to join its growing Program and Construction Management division as part of the education/vertical division.In this position, you will work with public sector clients to develop, support and lead K-14 projects and programs. We offer a dynamic, progressive environment that requires adaptability, flexibility, energy, and collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a construction project or project team in accordance with district and program policies and procedures for construction bond operations.
  • Train team on all policies and procedures
  • Lead business development activities
  • Develop and manage the project's QA/QC program with respect to the services that Harris delivers under the contract
  • Identify risk and create risk mitigation plans successfully
  • Document and report all project data accurately and in a timely manner
  • Create and present project data clearly to multiple stakeholder groups
  • Successfully manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ranging in construction value and complexity from $10M to $50M each.
  • Successfully deliver construction projects with multiple delivery methods
  • Successfully closeout projects with DSA certification
  • Ability to navigate conflict, resolve disputes, and mitigate owner and project impacts
  • Ability to solve problems in a timely manner relative to construction projects
  • Secure and manage the services and activities of Harris' sub-consultants
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of discipline-relevant experience with 6+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional engineering or architectural license is a plus but not required.
  • Experience working on K-14 education projects and supporting design teams
  • Established business development skills and willingness to engage in business development
  • Additional certifications such as CCM or PMP
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $145-180K. The actual salary offered will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
