Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Day Shifts

* 29 year old male
* Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Contractures
* G Tube for all feedings/medications
* Respiratory treatments (nebulizers, PRN suctioning
* BiPAP use overnight and when ill
* PRN Oropharynx suctioning
* Standing Frame, Prescribed exercises, Orthotics use
* Uses Tobii Dynavox communication device
* Patient Narrative: Patient is an intelligent, kind, college educated 29 year-old male with primary diagnosis of Spastic Cerebral Palsy. Patient and family are looking for a friendly, caring, responsible and reliable RN or LPN to work in their Wellesley home. Patient loves learning and teaching about all aspects of Japanese culture, especially Godzilla movies and everything about Kaiju culture. Patient has two devoted pets-1 tiny lizard named Gizzy, and a friendly turtle named Gamera!

* Northeast ARC-Clinical Services is a home care agency out of Danvers that specializes in Continuous Care Nursing for medically complex children and adults. This means it is more than a VNA; we provide block nursing in shifts anywhere from 2-16 hours at a time. We work 1-on-1 with a patient in their home, school, or community setting. We help families navigate the complexities of their loved one’s medical care, ensuring patients stay at home and out of the hospital. Our primary goal is to assist in allowing parents/children/spouses to maintain THAT role instead of being their Loved one’s primary “nurse”.
* We are always looking for more nurses to join our team-RNs, LPNs and new grads are all welcome. Worried about “losing skills” like the homecare myth would have you believe? Our cases run the gamut from general nursing care to extremely complex ICU-level home care. Almost all our patients have some type of feeding challenge and are either G or J-tube feeding dependent. Others might have tracheostomies and require ventilator support; others might have seizure disorders, use ostomy appliances, need wound management, require diabetic maintenance, and so much more. While our primary focus is helping to manage complex medical care at home, our equally important goal is to ensure our patient’s social-emotional health & well-being. We have many families looking for nursing help and get new referrals all the time. There simply aren’t enough nurses to care for them all. Pay rates-for the three differentials: all RNs are paid $44/46/48; all LPNs are paid $36/38/40. Pay: $36.00 - $48.00 per hour
