Role Summary:

The Lead, Operations Change Portfolio Management is responsible for overall coordination and management of the Change Initiative Portfolio, providing guidance and governance through the Change Initiative Lifecycle at the individual change initiative level, and interfacing with cross-functional Change Management resources.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:

* Communication and Facilitation

    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and change integration across portfolio.

o Support organization wide change-based communications as appropriate to portfolio.

o Participate in program and Operational Excellence engagements to ensure appropriate change initiatives are entered into the portfolio for Change Initiative Lifecycle Management.

o Liaison between initiative leads, stakeholders, SMEs, and change management support services to ensure stakeholders are appropriately integrated within the change initiative lifecycle.

o Act as a member of the cross-functional Enterprise Change Management team, ensuring initiatives are reviewed for the appropriate level of recommended Change Management.

* Change Initiative Intake, Analysis, and Validation

o Work with Initiative Leads to ensure completeness of initiative proposal and requirements to ensure key information is integrated into initiative impact, risk, benefits analyses and initiative proposal package.

o Assist in stakeholder identification and analysis of initiative impacts including risks and benefits.

o Ensure accurate proposal packages are developed for initial Steering Committee Review and prioritization.

o Ensure initiative risk and benefit and stakeholder impact analysis are validated and updated through phases as appropriate.

* Change Initiative Portfolio Management

    • Support decision making by senior leadership on the initiative portfolio by tracking and presenting initiative attributes, milestones, resources, and statuses.
    • Work with initiative leads to ensure frequent updates are recorded in the Change Portfolio tool - tracking status updates, variances from key milestone dates, scope changes, etc.

o Culminate and provide updates to Steering Committee for Review and support facilitated reprioritization.

o Track initiatives, throughout their lifecycle, to ensure integration of the appropriate support resources.

* Data Analysis and Reporting

o Provide transparency of information to the organization through accurate and effective reporting/depiction of the change portfolio roadmap.

o Support change prioritization review process through real-time manipulation of data from the Change Portfolio to present senior leadership with visual depictions of potential impacts, dependencies, constraints, and opportunities.

o Analyze Initiative/Change Portfolio for risks imposed by shifts in schedule or scope of initiatives.

* Change Initiative Lifecycle Controls and Support

o Maintain Initiative Lifecycle Controls process and documentation and identify and implement areas for improvement.

o Maintain and report on Change Initiative Portfolio KPIs to monitor and manage the effectiveness of Buckeye's change control processes.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline is preferred.
  • 3+ years experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • The successful applicant will have a high degree of proficiency with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of building models and forecasting.
  • Ability to lead improvement projects.
  • Self-motivated and a team player.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
