The Francis Marion Hotel has an immediate need for a full time Night Audit Manager. The Night Audit Manager is responsible for ensuring that all daily reports are generated, daily revenues are balanced, check ins and check outs are processed efficiently, and guests needing assistance during the shift are accommodated. The Night Audit Manager will provide the management team with accurate and reliable information needed to make effective operational decisions.

Responsibilities include:
Supervise the night audit operations.
Handle guest requests and customer issues during the night shift.
Supervise the night accounting employees; review and verify work, train and schedule.
Investigate and handle disturbances and emergencies during shift.
Perform functions of Night Auditors, as needed, to provide coverage and ensure completion of work in a timely, accurate manner.
Prepare reports and communications to Controller or other Hotel Department Heads on night issues/problems and other pertinent information regarding night operations.
Supervise the balancing, reconciliation and closing of various daily accounts and prepare the daily statements to provide accurate, timely information to management while ensuring proper controls are maintained.
Maintain preparedness and implement emergency procedures when appropriate to protect hotel guests, staff and assets.

This is a full time, salary position eligible for the full benefit package including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, company match 401k, PTO, free employee meals.

* One to two years of Night Audit supervisory experience or a related position preferred.
* Requires thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of the accounting and hospitality professions.
* Must be able to multitask
* Must be able to effectively communicate in English in an attentive, friendly, courteous manner.
* Work schedule is 11 PM - 7 AM including weekends and holidays.
