Job Summary

• The Patient Care Technician is accountable for performing delegated tasks and assisting nursing personnel within the Emergency Unit as well as functioning on the hospital floor in patient care delivery.

Education and/or Experience

• Medical Terminology preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) is required within 90 days of hire.
• Minnesota Certified Nurse Assistant certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification is required within 6 months of hire. 

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 6:45am-7:15pm, 6:45pm-7:15am; 24hrs/2wks
  • Every third weekend
  • Holiday rotation, 2 per year
  • Occasional call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
