Residential Property Manager (Single Family)

Express Employment, in conjunction with one of our locally owned and well-respected clients, is looking for a Property Manager to join their residential property management team. This client provides outstanding service to their tenants/property owners, and the selected candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and a dedicated team player. This is a full-time, direct-hire position that will service the North Austin/Round Rock area. Job Description:

• Review and approve applications for the leasing of properties in North Austin, process security deposit refunds, perform monthly audits on the status of properties
• Develop and maintain resident relationships by communicating effectively (orally and writing) and promptly
• Arrange for all upkeep, maintenance, alterations, and recondition of properties; and update property management records accordingly
• Perform and assist with eviction of residents when needed
• Review maintenance orders and appropriately assign staff to respond (must be willing to take after-hour emergency calls if needed!)

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in property management of single-family homes
• Texas Real Estate License required, Experience with MLS and/or AppFolio is a big plus
• Reliable transportation with insurance
• Must have a working knowledge of property maintenance
• Our client has a customer-first attitude, so this person must have outstanding customer service and communication skills; along with excellent time management and the ability to multitask effectively
• Must be computer savvy, proficient with the web/computer-based programs
• Must be knowledgeable and adhere to all Federal, State, and Local Fair Housing Laws
