Maintenance Supervisor

Functions and Responsibilities

* Assists Maintenance Manager with management of the entire maintenance department.

* Develop, maintain & enforce preventative maintenance program.

* Maintain equipment list, equipment files and accurate historical records with CMMS.

* Responsible for requisitioning parts and materials.

* Order and maintain cleaning and other miscellaneous supplies for facility.

* Maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment and spares inventory for the facility.

* Develop and maintain cost savings initiatives.

* Manage project implementations.

* Responsible for coordinating outside contractors to provide additional personnel and services to support the Maintenance Department.

* Conduct inspections & take necessary corrective action.

* Provides training and guidance to other maintenance employees.

* Other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager

* Mentor, coach, and develop a team of highly skilled maintenance mechanics.

* Follow established company policy and flow down to staff. Support management directives.

* Ensure working environment is safe for employees.

* Perform weekend OT coverage on a rotating schedule.

* Perform administrative tasks effectively (i.e., timecards, blue sheets, PTO requests, purchase requisitions, etc.).

* Create and foster open communication which encourages new ideas and innovation.

* Work with team members to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Continually identify and eliminate waste in assigned departments. Champion Lean Kaizen events to identify cost and time savings. Perform root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field

* Must have demonstrated leadership abilities.

* Proficient computer skills

* Must have the ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization.

* Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,647- $124,548.
