Qualifications and requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Experience working with precise tolerances to the ± .0005”

• Advanced measurement skills
• Knowledge of grinding various steel types is a plus
• Aptitude to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

• Proficient interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team

Experience

• 0-1 year previous shop experience

physical requirements

• Work is performed in a shop environment: air conditioned, exposure to machinery noises. Exposure to coolants, lubricants.

Physical Effort: Work requires standing, stooping, bending and reaching. Frequently lift, handle and carry trays weighing up to 50 lbs.
