Cashier / Checker

We are looking for a FULL-TIME or PART-TIME Checker. Grocery/Retail experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right candidate. Pay is based on experience, and starts at $16/hr.

We have both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. Checkers are responsible for ringing up customers, stocking shelves, cleaning and providing excellent customer service as well as other tasks as they come up throughout the store. 

At JJ's Market in Arroyo Grande, we aim to provide our customers with a safe and enjoyable grocery experience. We are a neighborhood store that sets itself apart with our famous barbecue, tasty sandwiches, fresh and local produce, daily made dinner specials and our focus on customer service. We carry everyday necessities and specialty items and want to provide each customer with an outstanding experience every time they shop with us.
