QC Inspector

Quality Control Inspector is responsible for several duties at Jahabow The inspector performs in-process and Final inspection of assemblies and sub-assemblies manufactured by Jahabow. Receiving Inspection performs inspection of in-coming materials used for production. Inspections’ primary responsibility is to ensure that manufactured products conform to the Customers expectations and requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Performs inspections, checks, and tests for quality control for the manufacture of products.

• Has knowledge of commonly used practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to perform the functions of the job.
• Primary job functions require exercising Interdependent judgment.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Education or equivalent.

· Junior College or Associate degree: Preferable in Math, Science, Communications or Pre Engineering. Also acceptable, Tech School, emphasis on Manufacturing and or Mechanical trade.

REQUIRED SKILLS

· The ability to work and communicate in a professional manner in a manufacturing environment, across multiple departments and areas.

· The ability to read and interpret Drawings and Test Instructions.

· The ability to use and understand various gages used during inspection.

· Well-organized. Ability to track and progress with several projects.

· Experience with Q/C tools. Calipers, pin gages, measuring equipment.

· Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and digital picture manipulation

· Keen eye for visual details and defect detection.

· 0 to 3 years’ experience
