Para Professional (Full Charge Bookkeeper)

Due to our continuing growth, we are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Para Professional. The Para Professional will handle the following responsibilities for multiple clients:

• Proficient in the use of QuickBooks, various accounting software systems and Excel.
• Enters and pays invoices accurately, aware of due date and correctness of invoice.
• Aware of general ledger accounts and proper posting.
• Posts and processes payroll correctly and understands payroll principles.
• Controls cash and presents accurate cash report/balance.
• Files sales and payroll tax returns.
• Reconciles book to bank accurately.
• Prepares journal entries for accrued financial statements.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Positive attitude.

Qualifications should include:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience with an emphasis in accounting. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate with clients, vendors, and staff effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
