Job Description


As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch's performance, including sales, operations, customer satisfaction, and team management. Your strong leadership skills, business acumen, and expertise in the commercial roofing industry will drive the success of our branch and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of our company.


Responsibilities


  1. Leadership and Team Management:

    • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the branch team, including sales representatives, project managers, and support staff.

    • Set clear expectations and performance goals for team members, holding them accountable for their individual and collective success.

    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development.

    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

  2. Sales and Business Development:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish and maintain relationships with key clients, and participate in business development activities.

    • Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive bids and proposals.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing campaigns.

  3. Operations and Project Management:

    • Oversee the execution of roofing projects to ensure timely completion, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources, monitor project progress, and address any issues or challenges.

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

    • Review project budgets, costs, and profitability to optimize financial performance.

  4. Customer Satisfaction:

    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and address any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

    • Monitor customer satisfaction levels, conduct customer feedback surveys, and implement improvement measures.

    • Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding client expectations.

  5. Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the branch's annual budget, including revenue targets, expenses, and profitability goals.

    • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

    • Review financial reports, forecasts, and projections to make informed business decisions.

  6. Additional Responsibilities:

    • Handle additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry, with a proven track record in sales and operations management.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, products, and installation techniques.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Team player attitude is a must.

  • Proven experience in business development and achieving sales targets.

  • Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.

  • Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L management.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Team player attitude is a must.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.

  • OSHA certification or willingness to complete certification.
