Transportation Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a dynamic Transportation Project Manager to become an integral part of an award-winning team in the Columbus area. This role allows for a hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $95k-$120k/year

Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the full range of services offered by the company and enhance business growth by educating existing and potential clients on aligning our services with their needs.
• Identify regulatory drivers for our services, strategize and position the company at the forefront of these drivers in our area.
• Thoroughly comprehend and evaluate contractual obligations before entering agreements, ensuring adherence throughout projects.
• Effectively manage large, complex projects involving multidisciplinary project teams.
• Cultivate and sustain client relationships as the primary client contact for projects.
• Develop project strategies, scopes of work, and budgets, overseeing project schedules and budgets throughout.
• Actively manage Work in Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to align with company metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5-10 years of experience in roadway improvements with a focus on ODOT projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification required; pre-qualifications with DOT preferred, including Bicycle Facilities and Enhancements, Non-Complex Roadway Design, and Complex Roadway Design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams.
