Sabal Transport, Inc. is a family owned and operated business with a long-standing reputation in the Bartow, FL area. We are looking for a full-time Trailer Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
*Responsibilities:*
* Diagnose and repair trailers and trailers’ components to ensure compliance with industry standards, manufacturer warranties, and consumer expectations.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on trailer components (hydraulic brakes, brakes, tires, suspension, electrical, etc.)to ensure compliance with industry standards, manufacturer warranties, and consumer expectations.
* Ensure trailer systems are in good working order (oil changes, tires, brakes, etc.)
* Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment using proper safety procedures and tools.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
