Dental Office Assistant

Compass Dental is a restorative and cosmetic family practice. Dr. Fana and his team have been working twenty plus years to bring quality work and friendly smiles to the community! Our practice is open Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM, however your shift may vary in this time period. We are currently operating on the Open Dental software system and Dexis.

We are looking for a dental assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is a dependable team player with a passion for patient care. MUST have prior dental experience, at least 2 years is preferred. Computer proficiency skills are a necessity for this position. If you find that you have an attention to detail and are compassionate with patient interactions, this job could be for you.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Chairside dental assisting
• Sterilization
• Patient education
• Discussing treatment with patients
• Taking radiographs including CBCT’s
• Digital scans

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• At least 2 years of experience in dental office
• Possess high-level communication skills, problem-solving, organization, and exceptional customer service skills
