Outside Sales - FastServ

SUMMARY:

Outside Sales position is responsible for presenting, promoting, and ultimately selling products to existing and prospective customers. Monitors industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand sales/revenue. An ambassador of the company, being a trusted face to our customers while also adhering to company values and policy.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Proven work experience as a sales representative selling in the industrial industry with knowledge of products sold
• Must have clean driving record and vehicle to visit customer sites

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Highly self-motivated and target driven
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Relationship management skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience/customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed
• Create and implement a sales strategy that ensures you meet personal sales goals as well as those set-in place by the company
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

OTHER DUTIES:

• Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to efficiently use a personal computer equipped with standard keyboard and mouse
• Ability to communicate in English to locate, read and report information
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch
• Lift, lower, carry product up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to drive own vehicle daily to customer sites
