Job Description
Environmental Education Associates, Inc. (EEA) seeks instructors to support ongoing asbestos, lead, mold & hazardous materials training programs throughout New York State, and other places, occasionally.
EEA is an accredited EPA & NYS training provider offering accredited certifications in-person and on-line since 1993. We are looking for instructors with asbestos abatement/inspection/monitoring, building management, lead, mold and/or environmental clean-up experience to assist our existing training staff to present approved curriculum in our training facilities and periodically on-site at client locations.
Great opportunity with someone who has experience in asbestos, lead and mold who'd like to "retire" from field work but still interested in helping others with their knowledge and experience. At least one (1) year of documented experience as an asbestos abatement supervisor is required. Women & minorities are encouraged to apply.
Candidate must meet experience criteria to meet NYSDOH requirements for asbestos instructor approval. Prior agency approval and experience as a trainer a plus that will be reflected in salary.
Based in Buffalo but some travel required. Relocation expense reimbursement may be available.
