Job Description

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy medicine is a practice centered on wellness; it looks for the cause of distress, as opposed to merely treating symptoms; a whole-body approach to wellness. Doctors of osteopathy (DOs) are guided by the principle that there is an intelligence within us that is always seeking health. At Osteopathic Healthcare of Maine, we have a profound respect for this self-correcting, self-healing mechanism, known in osteopathy as primary respiration. To learn more about us, please visit our website at www.osteopathichealthcareofmaine, and Google us to see reviews from our patients.
