Pay/Salary Range: $45 - 55/hr DOE
Akkodis currently has an opening for a Java Developer for a client in Rochester, NY.
Looking for experienced developer with hands on industry experience.Responsible for building a brand-new cloud native application for their clients. Work with a wide variety of cutting-edge technologies such as Angular, Docker, OpenShift, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Java 11 and Spring framework. Work closely with product and operations to determine how to best design solutions for the application.Our agile environment consists of multiple agile teams (product owner, scrum master, analysts, software developers, and test automation engineers) working in two-week sprints. Software is released through Continuous Delivery pipeline leveraging build, test and deployment automation, allowing for frequent releases to our customers and internal partners.
What you can expect to do in this role.
· Implement features for our new cloud native application.
· Work in an agile environment where team collaboration is embraced.
· Help drive innovative approaches for tackling complex product needs.
Qualifications / Technologies:
· Java/J2EE
· Web Services (REST)
· Gradle
· RabbitMQ / Kafka
· Relational SQL/ NoSQL Databases (MongoDB)
· Agile Principles (scrum)
· CI/CD principles, including automated builds, tests, and deployments.
