About this job

Inheritor Services is a dynamic team that oversees the transition of assets after a client’s passing. Each client’s situation is unique with different account types, family dynamics, and estate plans. The Inheritor Services team reviews each situation individually to determine the information needed to distribute a client’s assets to their final destination, and coordinates between departments in the firm to ensure the best possible experience for the family. We have a unique impact on our client’s families’ peace of mind during a time that is often very difficult for them, and aim to set ourselves apart from competitors in supporting them through the experience of managing their loved one’s estate.

The Opportunity:

As an Inheritor Services Associate, you will learn about the various account types, how Fisher manages assets for our clients, and how to manage a project to meet the needs of the client, the firm, and the involved employees. You will be assigned to clients with low to medium complexity estate plans of $3m or less, and will coordinate with internal partners to organize the research and documentation required. You will also assist the Analysts on the team in gathering data for the medium and high complexity assignments, and other support tasks.

The team will grow and evolve significantly in 2024, and all team members will have the opportunity to help find new ways to improve service to our internal and external clients while revamping processes to be more efficient and intuitive. You will report to the Inheritor Services Team Leader, who will support your skill and career development.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with customer/client experience

  • Commitment to maintain quality of work while sticking to a timeline

  • Project management experience and capacity to prioritize based on priority

Compensation:
