Caregiver Home Health Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team at Acti-Kare Sterling. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing essential in-home care and support to our clients, promoting their well-being and helping them maintain their independence. Your role will involve assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment, and fostering positive relationships with our clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

2. Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises to promote physical well-being.

3. Administer medications as per prescribed schedules and document accurately.

4. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.

5. Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.

6. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and activities.

7. Keep detailed records of care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.

8. Help with transportation for medical appointments, grocery shopping, and errands.

9. Ensure a safe and hygienic living environment for clients.

10. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.

3. CPR and First Aid certification preferred

4. Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.

5. Ability to lift and move clients as needed.

6. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

7. Clean background check and drug screening.

8. Experience in home care or a similar role is a plus.
