About this job

Summary of Job: Responsible for creating and serving various alcoholic beverages to guest order.  This position is responsible for maintaining bar cleanliness, managing inventory, and overall focus on guest interaction, while enforcing park policies and alcohol serving procedures.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enforce and abide by Six Flags and BASSET regulations
  • Renew BASSET certification every three years
  • Maintain alcohol/produce prep levels to meet business' daily needs
  • Ensure guests’ present proper identification and meet all requirements
  • Understanding and noticing signs of intoxication and enforcing serving protocols/limitations for guest and team safety
  • Mix products to prepare cocktails to order
  • Knowledge on alcohol products and make recommendations
  • Ensure all serving lines are equipped with all products, utensils, and functioning properly
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to meet company goals and prioritize guest interaction
  • Responsible for following recipes/picture perfects for production and prep, be consistent, and be accurate
  • Upkeep inventory levels and minimize supply waste
  • Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling product and equipment
  • Keep up with daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment, serving counters, cases and shelves with organization and sanitation of all backrooms, prep areas and, supplies
  • Ensures the high standards of Food Safety and Sanitation within the Health Department guidelines
  • Assisting in other areas within the Food and Beverage Operations Department(ex: Host, Kitchen, front line and more)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum age: 21
  • Outgoing, professional, and friendly demeanor
  • Demonstrate good communication and decision-making skills
  • Be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to train, multitask, work well with others and follow directions
  • Ability to work, stand and walk for up to 6 hours at a time in all weather conditions
  • Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Other Functions: All other duties necessary to support the park as a whole.
